Lethabo Kwabo is a 4-year-old girl from Thembelihle who lives with her mother, Mpho Kwabe, and her sibling, who has also graduated from our Early Childhood Development program.

Mpho was forced to leave her previous job after being diagnosed with Tuberculosis, which left her critically ill. She is currently undergoing treatment for the illness. In response, we have been supporting Mpho by helping her with clinic visits and ensuring she adheres to her medication. Since her mobility is limited due to her condition, we’ve arranged transportation to and from the clinic, making it easier for her to receive the care she needs.

In addition, we’ve ensured that Lethabo and her sibling received immunization, protecting them from contracting the illness and helping them become immune. Understanding the challenges Mpho faces, we’ve provided the necessary support to ease the burden on her and her family.

Due to the severity of Mpho’s illness, she is unable to provide for her family’s basic needs. In light of this, we’ve stepped in to ensure that the family is not without essential resources. We’ve been providing them with regular food parcels, making sure they have access to vital nutrition. As the cold season approaches, we’ve also supplied warm clothing to help protect the family from the harsh winter weather.

Recognizing the importance of education for the children’s future, we’ve arranged for free education for Lethabo and her sibling, ensuring they can grow and thrive like any other child their age. This opportunity will not only help them learn and develop but also ensure they lead normal, healthy lives despite the challenges they face at home.

Thanks to your generous support, the family’s situation has already shown improvement. With your continued help, we are hopeful that we can offer them the resources and encouragement they need to build a brighter future. Together, we are giving this family the chance to rebuild and thrive, and we are truly grateful for the difference your funding makes.

We look forward to continuing this journey, working hand in hand to ensure a bright and fruitful future for Lethabo and her family.
